Kombi beds

We have been producing our massively popular ‘Kombi Bed’ for over 15 years now and, as with all of our work at Exploria, we strive to continually improve our products and designs. Due to increasing demand and much time spent researching the best components & materials, we now have the Exploria Kombi Bed III.

The 3rd generation Kombi Bed allows you to have a full width rear bed, which is fully removable & yet still allows you to carry up to three rear passengers, hence maintaining the functionality of your existing rear Kombi seats. Thousands of our beds have been tried and tested, which is a testament to how popular & versatile it is, giving you a true ‘multi purpose’ vehicle.

Based on demand, we now offer the bed in just one height. This was the equivalent of size 4 on the previous Kombi beds.

This is as low as possible while still being able to fully extend and use the bed with rear Kombi seats in the van and folded.

The bed is still self supporting and does not require the rear seating under the bed if you do not need it in the vehicle.

Finished bed height is 76cm .

Clearance under the bed is 57cm at the front and 61cm at the rear.

The bed is 193cm long when extended, 132cm not extended, and 137cm wide.

We can offer the Kombi Bed in the following VW T5, T6, and T6.1 fabric; Bricks, Black Clip, Anthracite or Simora. If you are wanting a more robust finish, vinyl is a popular choice, as it is hard wearing, durable and a cheaper alternative than leather. Due to the many variations of fabrics, we may not always have them all available ‘off the shelf’ and so the lead time can vary.
